Relaxing With Some Suds

Don't we all deserve to put up our feet at the end of the day and enjoy nice, cold beer? After all, we work hard and are entitled to a little relaxation like anyone else.
And of course, by "we" I include dogs. Dogs work hard too - they keep the house safe from mailmen, keep the sofa broken in, interrupt our Zoom meetings, and make us feel particularly welcome when we return home no matter how long or short our trip outside was.
In an effort to reward our hard working puppers, Really Good Pets Shop is pleased to now offer Bowser Beer for Dogs. This nonalcoholic concoction is perfect as a meal topper, or just as a tasty drink on its own. Made from chicken, pork, or beef stock, it has added malt barley, amino acids, and glucosamine - no carbonation or sugar or anything unhealthy for dogs.
This is more than a treat, however. This can help your pet become healthier and even happier. The amino acids help with protein synthesis. Dogs need protein to be at least 30% of their diet. There is also vitamin B in Bowser Beer, something dogs need for their nervous system, brain function, and intestinal health. The glucosamine helps dogs with tired and stiff joints move a little easier. Finally, having a liquid treat helps dogs stay hydrated, which of course is vital during the summertime.
The great thing about Bowser Beer is that you can serve it cold or room temperature. And since it isn't actually sudsy, you can open a bottle, serve a little bit, and then put the cap back on it and store it in the fridge. No worries about it going flat.
***Just a word of caution for those of you wondering about ACTUAL beer and dogs: don't mix them. Dogs should not drink beer (or any booze for that matter). Their livers and kidneys are not cut out to handle alcohol, and if they get too much - which for people wouldn't be a lot - they could get alcohol poisoning. A little bit for a big dog isn't awful but it is not something you should make a habit of. My dogs recently found my little pie tins in my garden that I fill with beer to trap slugs, beetles, and earwigs. They were more interested in carrying them around, but it made me realize that I had a potentially dangerous substance at dog-level.
